In a land far away, a long time ago, there was a tree which only blossomed on the darkest nights. People would meet there, at seven past nine, when the planets were in full view and the wind had gone completely leaving stillness in the dark.

With the fallen pink petals, they made a potion that when drank would transport them through the stars. As they lay on the rocks, the whole world was theirs and they would sit for hours and wait for something that never came.

As time passed, they allowed themselves to believe the tree was theirs, and they became greedy with their secret. The fallen petals had all been used, and they began to pick more from the tree. In their hands the petals began to disintegrate and, as they turned their backs to walk away, the tree burst into flames. Everything changed in a second, the planets were gone, the fire consumed the light from the stars and they ran and didn't look back.

They walked for hours not knowing where to go or what to do. When the new day dawned, they understood that they had seen true magic and they knew that, even when apart, the power they took from the tree would always bond them together, the magic would give them incredible strength, and everything they touched would turn to gold.
