This Oil painting, on canvas, is of the Gallos statue on Tintagel Castle.
Following a trip to Cornwall, to see this amazing sculpture at Tintagel Castle, I just had to paint it. It's such a smart idea and perfectly sculpted. What a way to illustrate both the history and the myths all in one single statue. I really like it and I think the painting does it justice. . 340mm x 440mm, portrait.
