The Bale Stackers

The Bale Stackers . 600 x 300 landscape, oil on canvas, framed in a light wood floater frame ready to hang. It's a familiar sight around rural Hampshire towards the end of the summer to see the fields full of bales and they always add another dimension to the views across the South Downs. At first glance, you think there's a small tractor and trailer hauling bales but, as you look again, you see it is in fact a large tractor and then you start to realise the scale and height of the bales. What an amazing view!
